Mendocino Purps are a legendary variety from the Emerald Triangle in Northern California. It is known to be the origin of a number of purple varieties, including Grand Daddy Purple and Purple Urkel.
We were lucky enough to get some seeds made in 1996 by the CSI pirates of the Humboldt Valley. Even after more than 20 years, they were still in great shape and so beautiful that it was difficult to select the best phenos. We had twenty beautiful females, all of them purple from the beginning of flowering.
This phenotype is of course also found in the new generation of Mendo T. In proportion to 10 plants, The High Chameleon has observed 3 Purple phenotypes that are close in appearance to the mother, the flowers are purple and the leaves green. For the other 7, the colours tend to be black. True Black Phenos on both the flowers and the leaves, sometimes turning to deep burgundy.
Mendo T is a very easy plant to grow, especially due to its robust structure. However, it needs to be thinned out during flowering to avoid a lack of oxygen due to the large leaves.
It is a very popular daytime variety because it has a good physical and cerebral balance that relaxes while maintaining tone. It is also recommended for mood disorders and is very suitable as a variety to start therapies gently.
In terms of flavour, it has a floral signature that is incomparable to all other varieties. The round aromas give a tangy lavender aftertaste for many minutes.
